Relative (co)homology of $F$-Gorenstein modules
We investigate the relative cohomology and relative homology theories of $F$-Gorenstein modules, consider the relations between classical and $F$-Gorenstein (co)homology theories.

متن کاملRelative volume comparison theorems in Finsler geometry and their applications
We establish some relative volume comparison theorems for extremal volume forms of Finsler manifolds under suitable curvature bounds. As their applications, we obtain some results on curvature and topology of Finsler manifolds. Our results remove the usual assumption on S-curvature that is needed in the literature.
متن کاملAlgebraic shifting increases relative homology
We show that algebraically shifting a pair of simplicial complexes weakly increases their relative homology Betti numbers in every dimension. More precisely, let ∆(K) denote the algebraically shifted complex of simplicial complex K, and let β j (K, L) = dim k H j (K, L; k) be the dimension of the jth reduced relative homology group over a field k of a pair of simplicial complexes L ⊆ K. Then β ...
متن کاملOn f-Vectors and Relative Homology
We find strong necessary conditions on the f -vectors, Betti sequences, and relative Betti sequence of a pair of simplicial complexes. We also present an example showing that these conditions are not sufficient. If only the difference between two Betti sequences is specified, and not the individual Betti sequences, then the characterization is complete, and the characterization of all pairs of ...
